Brisbane’s The Culprit Club proudly presents ‘The American Music Photo Exhibit’, a ONE NIGHT ONLY international debut by highly acclaimed New York City photographer, Mel D. Cole.

Spending the last sixteen years documenting the hip hop scene, Mel D. Cole (MelDCole.com / Villageslum.com) has worked with hundreds of artists, including The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Tyler, The Creator, Kanye West, Puff Daddy, Drake, Lil Wayne, Action Bronson, J. Cole, Beyonce, Jay Z, Chance The Rapper, Kid Cudi, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, R.Kelly, Denzel Curry, Joey Badass, Young Ma, Trey Songz and more.

Mel D. Cole is also know for his clothing collaborations with labels such as Flud watches, Etnies and Leroy Jenkins. His latest collaboration is with legendary soccer brand Umbro.

‘The American Music Photo Exhibit’ showcases images spanning Mel D. Cole’s vivid career working within the American hip hop community, from the recording studios in New York City to the streets of Kenya.
